1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that Web sites you visit send to your browser, where they are stored and then transmitted back to the same sites on subsequent visits.
They are used to improve navigation, analyze site usage, and offer personalized content.
In addition to cookies, we also use similar technologies (such as pixels, tags, or tracking scripts), collectively referred to as “cookies” in this policy.
2. Types of cookies used
The https://arteriflessa.com website uses the following categories of cookies:
(a) Technical cookies (required)
They are essential for the proper functioning of the site and do not require user consent.
They include session, authentication, security and language preference cookies.
(b) Analytical (statistical) cookies.
They collect anonymous, aggregate information about site usage (pages visited, unique visitors, average time spent).
They can be managed either by us(first-party cookies) or by third parties such as Google Analytics or equivalent services.
When data is anonymized, these cookies can be used without consent; otherwise, they require explicit consent.
(c) Profiling and marketing cookies
They are used to create profiles about the user and show advertisements consistent with the user’s preferences or interests.
They may come from third-party vendors such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Mailchimp, or other remarketing tools.
The release of these cookies is done only with the user’s explicit consent.
3. Third-party cookies
While browsing, you may also receive cookies on your device from sites or web servers other than the one you visited, called third-party cookies.
Examples:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – collection of statistical data on visits, in aggregate or pseudonymized form.
- Meta Pixel / TikTok Pixel – tracking interactions for advertising campaigns.
- YouTube or Vimeo – for playing embedded video content.
Information collected by third parties is handled according to their respective policies, which are available on the providers’ official websites.
4. Legal basis for processing
- Technical cookies: legitimate interest of the owner (do not require consent).
- Non-anonymized analytical and marketing cookies: user consent, expressed via banner on first visit or subsequently modifiable.
5. Managing cookie preferences
On your first visit, an information banner allows you to accept or reject categories of cookies other than technical cookies.
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking on the “Cookie settings” link (in the footer of the site).
Alternatively, you can disable or delete cookies directly through your browser settings, for example:
- Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647

- Safari: https://support.apple.com/it-it/guide/safari/sfri11471/mac
- Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/it-it/help/4027947
Disabling technical cookies may affect the proper enjoyment of the site.
6. Retention period
- Session cookies: deleted automatically when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies: remain on the device for a period not exceeding 12 months, unless consent is revoked or manually deleted by the user.
7. Data transfers outside the EU
Third-party cookie providers (e.g., Google, Meta) may process data in countries outside the EU.
Such transfers take place in compliance with Articles 45-49 of the GDPR, through Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate guarantee mechanisms.
8. Updates to the Cookie Policy
This policy may be periodically updated to adapt to regulatory or technical changes.
Any updates will be posted on this page, with the relevant date.
